Kristin Griffin is an award-winning wedding photographer based in Boston and capturing destination weddings around the world. She trained as a fine-art photographer, earning a bachelor of fine arts degree in studio art/photography from the University of Notre Dame and a master of fine arts degree in imaging arts/photography from Rochester Institute of Technology.
She was named 9 time Bride’s Choice award winner (top 5% of the industry) by WeddingWire, was one of The Knot’s Best-of-Weddings in 2012 and 2018, and OneWed’s Couple’s Choice in 2009 and 2010. Her wedding photographs have been published in Brides Magazine, The Knot, Style Me Pretty, Bride and Groom Magazine, Beauty and Lifestyle Bride Magazine, Bridal Beauty Magazine, The Wedding Connection Magazine, Belle the Magazine, Massachusetts Wedding Guide, and many wedding sites.
Kristin’s fine art photographs have been exhibited at museums and galleries throughout New England and her book “Twilight Cityscapes” was published in 2007. Two Bright Lights named her an editor’s choice photographer in 2013. She taught black and white, digital, alternative process and studio photography at Tufts University and Rochester Institute of Technology, and wrote the curriculum for Photo History at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh’s Online Photography division before specializing in weddings. Kristin is currently a member of the Professional Photographers of America and Wedding and Portrait Photographers International.
