“Love? Above all things I believe in love. Love is like oxygen.
Love is a many-splendored thing, love lifts us up where we belong,
all you need is love.”
I am a wife, a mother, an artist, a teacher, a photographer.
As you start your journey toward planning your marriage and life together, let me tell you a little about mine.
It’s by no means perfect. I love coffee, he can only stand it in ice cream. He loves to rock climb, I’d rather curl up with a good book. I’ll cheer on my alma mater, the Fighting Irish, through winning seasons and heartbreaking losses, he just barely tolerates my fanaticism. But we balance each other. He’s the yin to my yang, the peanut butter to my jelly, the macaroni to my cheese.
Marriage is a process. It’s about remembering the moments that first made your heart flutter and surprising each other with Sunday morning cinnamon buns. It’s about reveling in the things you share in common (skiing, scuba diving, travel) and letting your partner pursue their own passions where you differ. You’re a team. A cohesive unit. A family.
So who am I? I’m 1/3 of the family Griffin. I’m a wife to Ron and a mother to Wesley. I’m a fine art photographer and a lover of black and white and alternative process photography. I have been a teacher of high school, university and adult education photography students. And I would be honored to be the photographer that documents the start of the rest of your lives together.
