We had a “do it yourself wedding.” The one and only thing we splurged on professional services for was photography and I will recommend Kristin for years to come for any event. From the very first email to the last shot and after, she was absolutely awesome to work with. A few things worth noting for people looking for a photographer…
She was not pushy in any way but knew how to run a group of people to get the shots WE wanted. Not only did she get every shot we wanted and then some, but everybody had a fun time doing it.
She was practically invisible at the reception… but every time we turned around, there she was capturing some little moment with her camera. Things that just slip by most people (including us)… she was there ahead of time, behind the lens like she knew stuff was going to happen. We have gorgeous photos to prove it.
She took time to introduce herself and meet people, be friendly and leave enough of an impression that people are still asking us “who was your photographer? She was really good!”
Also… while the bride was getting ready there was the inevitable panic because things weren’t ready and she was running behind. Kristin took the time to put down the camera and ask ‘how can I help’ – she even took the time to tell the bride that ‘every bride is late’ and help her calm down when she was upset. That shows me that Kristin was truly interested in our wedding going well.
All said and done – the photography was the only thing I didn’t worry about the entire day. She was awesome, start to finish, and even though it poured on our engagement shoot and our wedding day – the pictures are so good you’d think we did it on purpose!

It is easy to talk with her and she does not pressure you in any way.
